Green Built Homes
Green Built North Carolina, formerly NC HealthyBuilt Homes, is a voluntary, statewide green building program administered by the Western North Carolina Green Building Council. The WNC Green Building Council (WNCGBC) is pleased to offer the Green Built NC Program to builders throughout the region.
Green Built NC is targeted at small to medium sized home builders who may not have the resources to compete with larger builders in the rapidly emerging field of green building. This program offers a certificate for meeting green building guidelines, technical and marketing assistance, design reviews, workshops, and field consultation services that enable builders to increase their green building expertise, gain market share of home buyers interested in high-performance building techniques, and boost companies profitability.

Energy Star
ENERGY STAR is about more than products. In fact, since 1992, EPA has also worked with organizations to help them save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by making their buildings and plants more energy efficient.
Every year, they’re saving more than $9 billion and preventing nearly 120 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from entering our atmosphere.
